i've fallen in love with lover the label. i was sorry to discover that the dreamy australian designs aren't available anywhere in the states for the foreseeable future. the incredibly wearable fall collection features a washed palette of smoky greys, soft camels, and creamy whites. every design in the lookbook is punctuated with what appear to be black suede booties worn with a bare leg, black tights or cream tights. so simple!
flipping through the fall 2010 rowan knitting magazine (thanks laurie!), i spotted a dead ringer for the design above. i believe this was knit with rowan 4-ply. i think i've found my knitting muse for fall.

I love the burgendy/maroon sweater. The way they made the sweater is so unique to me.
isn't that the brilliant thing about being able to knit - you don't have to buy the latest seasons outfits, you can make them yourself. And knitwear is in in a big way this fall.
