the capelet seems like the perfect spring accessory. and this entrelac version by cecily glowik mcdonald from the spring knitscene may be just the piece to lift me out of my knitting slump. perhaps a white-on-white version?
Slump? White on White - using the Noro silk garden white? - - the silhouette kind of reminds me Vogue Cover pentagon cape poncho - although in the bonus photos there are no clips on the back of this one but the model does have her elbows out in both pics.
hey rach...those high-waisted jeans are hot diggity retro cuteness. and janice...ya got a point on the capecho similarity. i cast on for this capelet yesterday in some misti baby alpaca chunky i had in my stash. will post some wip pics soon. it is like CANDY to knit...and way easier than it looks.

Perhaps some natural Noro Silk Garden is in order?
I think it would look great white on white.
Wow! That made me sit up and take notice!!
Perfect slump buster and adding it to my que now!! :) Gotta get my hands on that Knitscene mag!
i want the pockets on that woman's jeans, only i want them on the back side of the jeans. i love the stitching!
