fo: pretendi


i finished this much over the winter. but it was sans a lining...


...until now. voila and merci beaucoupi to cheryl for her mad sewing skillz. in addition to being an amazing knitter and felter, she has her own sewing biz. notice the pleated pocket and the waxed linen fabric, a leftover from one of her recent jobs. she whipped this baby up in about 10 minutes flat. and then it was up to yours truly to cobble it into place.


she made a similar lining for my original fake-a-gamo, which has been lining-less for over two years now. i'd love to show you a pic, but i dropped my camera last weekend, and it is showing no signs of life.

When I saw the first picture I thought what a scary animal is staring me right into the face, with two strange protruding eyes...
But oh how convenient - it's a purse!
I hope you can "resurrect" your camera.

It looks great! That's definitely going to be one of those things where people ask where you got it as opposed to "Did you make that?"
