you say eggplant, i say aubergine

thanks to all the artsy fartsy types who responded to my guess-the-matisse contest. there were so many good guesses. who knew the man was so prolific?

the winner of a lovely skein of artyarn is amp, aka icy*Purl. she was the first to correctly guess that my little yarn collage is homage to "interior in aubergines." from a quick perusal of her blog, i see amp is a verrrrry new newlywed. congraulations on your wedding and on your arty eye!
