butterfly 2 (yes yahaira, it's for me)
i started the hem frill for another butterfly vest. this time, i'm using jaggerspun zephyr. i love this wool-silk blend, despite the fact that it is slightly splitty for such a fine yarn. i've been using some leftover seed beads and then today, i received a package in the mail from my ace knitting buddy clairity123. not one, not two, but THREE tubes of gorgeous beads. i'm thinking of continuing in the seed beads on the hem frill then using one of these colors in the body of the vest. the question is, WHICH?
which would you use? the pink, the gold or the green? or save them for another project and continue in the seed beads seen above? (they're pretty small, but if you look closely, you can see them in the points along the bottom edge of the hem frill.)

Wow, that (just started but cute ;)) vest looks great!
Definitely I would use green beads.
But it's just my oppinion ;).
I enjoy reading your blog a lot!
That looks lovely so far. The color is one of my favorites.
I would go with the gold beads for the extra sparkle and stand out affect especially because they are so small. :)
Your amazing to not only knit one Butterfly, but your going for No.2???
I'd actually go for the pink beads. I think the subtle sparkle would be tres chic.
pink! go with pink!
this one better be for you
I like the pink, too. But, if you wanted something more funky and not as muted, I say go for the gold.
I would say either gold or pink! The green would be to Christmas-y for me. Love it that you're making it for yourself. You deserve one!
I vote for the pink beads! The green ones might make it look christmas-y or something.
my opinion is to go pink! Those are also 8mm beads, they are alittle bigger than the seed beads, pink would be a subtle jazz....gold would be too contrastie.
wow, I think that's the first time I made into a post title :)
PINK!!
Pink for sure - it will look lovely!
Either pink or gold...pink for understated shimmmer that doesn't take away from the pattern, gold for a little glam.
good post :)
