i received a package today that got my heart racing faster than a case of cherry cordial yarntini. move over, manolo. take a hike louboutin. mama's got a new pair of shoes. and these babies are gonna coddle my tootsies instead of cripple them. i could say they are the best slippers on earth. i could say they're like walking around with two skeins of alpaca silk strapped to the balls of my feet. instead, i think i'll just slip them on, unplug my laptop, pour myself a bucket of cabernet and curl up in my knitting chair. what could be more glamourous?

Excellent. I have worn those particular slippers for years and years; I think I've been through 4 pairs. SO warm but not sweaty, and tough enough to go outside to grab the mail or what-have-you. I'm certain you will love them every bit as much as you hope to. =)
I've worn these and understand what you are experiencing!! But, I never wore them while enjoying a "bucket of cabernet" - something I gotta try!

Those are the Mac Daddy of all warm and cozy slippers. I live in mine all through out the winter. I've got the pair that covers my ankles too.
Oooh, I've been lusting after sheepskin slippers for years. Where did you get them?
oops, in my excitement, I missed the label on the box - 1 smack with wet noodle for me.
Those slippers will last forever, too. I have the clog version kind that I bought in Maine 6 years ago, and they are still fantastic.

I have LL Bean slippers too--the slip-ons--and they are so comfortable once you break them in. Good purchase.
I love these slippers. I have about 4 pair of them scattered around the house so they are always accessible. I even sent two pair of these as a wedding present to friends in the UK!
