on your marc

check out this sweater from the marc jacobs fall 2010 rtw, which showed last night at new york fashion week. fair isle has never looked more modern, knit up in neutrals and paired with a below-the-knee-length graphic print skirt, and slouchy anklets. is it crazy to lust for fall weeks before the first bud of spring?

@drew: i have seen your cables...AWE.SOME.

@clarity: really?? i just saw the new spring rowan, and i gotta tell ya, i am not lovin it. i feel like they have gone completely safe & traditional. yes, there are some beautiful designs, but they lack the truly inspiring, cutting-edge style of past issues. perhaps they have banished all edgy designs to their rowan style books?

I actually have never knit a summer fabic.....always a warmth cozy knitter I am.....BUT YOU KNIT BUDDY! are a great lite fabric knitter, that silky linen cardi with the ruffle was beautiful ( shit! Lindsey Vonn just slipped to silver ) anyway...I will be knitting the winter cozies all summer long.
