lost
maybe it was the 18-hour travel day. maybe it was the sauvignon blanc. all i know is i left my nearly FO april showers scarf on the seat of a united flight to dulles the other night. everytime i think about all those rows and rows of lacey lamb and silken straw, i feel sick to my stomach. on top of that, i lost my fave addi turbo lace needles and a lovely latern moon silk project bag.
united no longer takes calls regarding lost items. you have to email them with the flight and info about the lost item. they then only contact you in the event that your item is found.
is there a patron saint of lost knitting?

That would be St. Anthony. Oh, I can feel your pain! I hope it will turn up.
oh kate! that makes me sick to my stomach for you.
Oh, this is tragic. I loved this project, the pink, the laciness.....somehow, someone out there has to turn this in so you get it back.
EFF!! I hope all your items find you again. :(
boo that stinks! lets hope that somehow it meets the lost and found and someone is able to help you.
Kate, Do the email and contact them. They'll have it - lots of flight attendants knit so they know the value.
Fingers crossed. I'll send you a new "Molly Bag" soon!
Marcia

We (your patron knitblog reading saints) are all praying for you.
Oh, I hear ya! I left a silk Habu scarf behing at a restaraunt last week - of course, they couldn't find it when called the next evening. I hope your story has a happier ending. x
