although i do like her haircut, i'm completely shocked by the horrible styling! i just received the book in the mail a few days ago (couldn't resist) and aside from the abundance of mc hammer pants, the accessories are just wrong wrong wrong. I'm sure the model is much prettier than she appears here - the lighting is doing nothing to help her out!
phew, sorry for the rant, but i used to work as a photographer for similar type photoshoots and it irks me to see one so poorly executed.
knitting related question - what kind of yarn would you use instead of mohair? i don't particularly love mohair (especially not in the summer). Hemp? Bamboo?

Model's haircut for me.
Both are nice. The hair is very Mary Louise Parker. And that's something I can support.
The sweater's cute, but God I WANT THAT HAIR!!!
The sweater looks like there's a lot going on...the hair is cute, but mine just wouldn't do that. :(
I just couldn't resist. I bought the yarn and pattern at my LYS today. Just need to schedule a haircut appointment now!

ooh, nice styling, cute cap sleeves. Hmmm.. instead of mohair, Art Yarns soft 3 ply cashmere would be good for this.
I actually like this top and that necklace she's wearing as well.
I already bought the pattern book. The haircut is unfortunately not that easy to get.
Both!
This is definitely in my Ravelry queue.
