in the pink
i am a total sucker for anything pink. and lacey. and soft. especially at the end of winter when everything outside my window is a shade of drab. or at least it was when i purchased the lacey lamb and silken straw to make this springy scarf from purl soho.
today, the sun is out, the forsythia is in full bloom, and i actually walked the dog all the way down to the coffee shop for the first time in nearly three months. and, as if life inside the pink bubble weren't happy enough already, i also recovered my old ibook which was snatched from our house over a year and a half ago by a hooded intruder. more on that later. for now, i must go outdoors and bask in the hot pink global warmth of a rare day on the sunny side of the street.

It's overcast here right now, but your pink scarf is cheering me up:)
Congrats on the dog-walking and ibook reclaiming!
Oh, that was an unexpected [albeit beautiful] little surprise.
Thats a lovely colour pink.
Ooh, that's such a great bright pink! Just what we need in spring, for sure.

Ooh! That pink is sure to lift your spirits on a drab April day. Not that I need it today! (75. Sunny. Perfect.)
i know...it is perfect outside. so what are we doing in here??
This pink has brightened up my mood while I'm studying for finals. It also makes me miss knitting. I've challenged myself not to knit until post finals because once I start, there's no telling when I'll put the needles down. :-)
Wow, great on the walk kate! i just took a stoll through Highland park and the magnolias are so beautiful! i am also lovin my scarf as well, the color is "poppy" i want to post it but camera took a bath in the ocean :(
Congrats on getting your iBook back - amazing! That lacy pink is wonderful for spring.
thanks gals...and guy! and michelle, your poppy colors are amazing...make me even wanna try something besides hot pink next time!
mmmm...the hot pink is yummy-I'm glad you are enjoying your spring days!
I love love love this color. It's been so grey this spring.
Your hooded intruder story sounds scary. Glad you recovered your old ibook!
A month later and what the heck happened to our glorious weather? By your walk, I take it you are healed -- glad to hear it!
