knit, style & je ne sais quoi since 2004.
I agree, I really like the runway version, even though I had completely passed over the sweater in the magazine.
I like the runway version better too. I just ordered her book yesterday so my first Twinkle sweater is just around the corner!
Def the runway version. It looks like the yarn overs go from the waist to the ribbing in the runway, instead of boobs to the ribbing in the mag. Still don't think I'll be making this one, though.
You know girls, I think I have to desagree. I like the one in the mag better, because its like a big sweater and not a sweater-dress as on the runway. though I must say you are not gonna find this item on my needles. ;)
i want to try this one, though i am not hopeful, seeing as how my last twinkle sweater ended up looking on me. i like the body part of the vogue pattern better--it looks less gigantic and more elongating. i want to see someone else's finished product first, though. :)
i prefer the ribbed bodice and the stand up collar. i LOVE stand up collars so regal. thanks for posting that!
oh, and i also like the longer sleeves on the runway version too. it just looks more luxurious
Twinkle. has a new book coming out in Feb called Weekend Knits. Hats, scarves and some sweaters. I saw a mock up yesterday while a yarn rep was in a local shop. Some nice new colors in the yarn too.
Hmm...love it on the runway...darn near hate it in the magazine. Either way, I don't think I could pull it off so i'll just let you handle this one. :)
