frozen mohair

does frozen mohair really frog more easily than the non-frozen variety? this is my own experiment to find out. and rest assured, my friend, this is no ordinary mohair. it is simply that snarliest, gnarliest, unfroggiest of all mohairs, kidsilk haze.

I tried this too when I goofed on the KSH camisole in Weekend Knits. It seemed to help, but it still wasn't easy by any means

I didn't find KSH too bad to frog at all - put it down to the silk content.

I wonder if it's worse in your current hot weather?

I tried this with some GGH soft kid (very similar to kid silk haze). I swear that it helped! If I recall correctly, it was Froggy who turned me on to this. I wish she would start up her blog again.

Hi Kate! Thanks for the shout-out from the knitting world. I've been swallowed up by my new city, my new job, new late hours, and decorating my new apt on a budget. yuck. I'll knit again soon, though...

Good luck! I have frogged KSH, but only a few rows at a time. It didn't seem too bad, but I never did anything bigger than 10 rows or so.

Yeah - I'd love to see/hear what the results are. I'm about to frog my first (and only) repeat on Birch. Sigh. I wanted to get this done in time for my mom's trip to Italy at the beginning of September. I dunno now...
