i think i finally found the perfect fabric for this danish lovely i scarfed up just as a little old lady was hauling it to the curb last spring:
both fabrics are from the uber-talented amy butler's forest collection. now the only question is, which colorway?

I think either fabric would look good with the chair but I am leaning toward the gray/orange combo.
They are both fantastic! Of practical reasons I would probably go for the orange/darker grey.
love the amy butler fabrics.......i looked long and hard........i like the orange and grey........it has more of a contrast with the wood which I like.

Sorry, but as much as I love green, I have to go grey and orange. Maybe b/c I always go green and it's starting to wear me out.
That chair is awesome, what a find! I was just lusting over a similarish chair at a shop (they had redone the upholstery). I'd go with the orange+gray, but I also love the blue colorway of that fabric.
i think the orange grey....you love orange! Depends on where its going too...studio-orange grey, and if tv room green would would be cool too.
