objects in rearview mirror may be smaller than they appear

what a fun, quick knit these tiny booties are. two inches of double knitting, a clever technique that creates two layers of fabric, pillow-stylee. from there, you work the heel, pick up some stitches, work a few rows of ribbing, and voila! from the beautifully designed last-minute knitted gifts and knit with luscious french angora from purl.

So adorable! What a great baby gift too! You don't have to worry about washability either because who washes booties??? Not me!

just lovely!!!oh how i love angora, its just the ultimate fiber. But i can't have it near my face, i just erupt in nose twitching and sneezing. But i sure love it! My nany used to make the most divine barbie skating outfits with it.

I have been eye-balling this book at Barnes & Noble for weeks...I picked it up after I saw your pic! Too cute.

Oh, and make it NINE...I haven't made the Clapotis either...sounds too much like a disease that I don't ever want to have!

The booties are so cute! Are they more of a keepsake kinda bootie? Does the yarn wash? Just curious. Beautiful work.
