you're too much. i'm sorry your hat hasn't turned out how you wanted it to. i'm afraid they have the unique potential to make the wearer look like a 1UP mushroom from mario brothers. you're kate bleeping sonnick though so you can figure out how to fix it. clearly.
maybe try it with a thinner yarn that has more drape? that;s the trouble with bulky yarns, which is why i can't stand it, no matter how cute it looks in twinkle's designs.
you know i used to hooked up to one of those dryers every sun nite after shampoo, took forever to dry my curly locks.....i've found out those lovely bubble dryers were full of asbestos. i really like your bubble hat.Felt it to make it slouchy.Make it work baby!!!

Maybe... toss it in the laundry for a good felting?
I'm guessing that's not how you wanted the beret to come out? A little more Dr. Zhivago, a little less shower cap-esque?
Sorry about that. We all have losers. At least its not a sweater!
Heehee...great referencing!

yeah, a thinner yarn would definitely drape more. but my other prob was i was too lazy to do a gauge.
ah well, the good news is this the beret gone awray gave me a good idea for some sleeves on a jacket design i'm working on.
That's funny because I just finished a hat for my son and it is too small. It is quite humbling after a string of victories to have a clunker...
I laughed my head off... But I can do that because this is just the sort of thing I would do. Your facial expression is priceless
thanks guys...you win some, you lose some...i've definitely learned more from the weird eff-ups i've made than i have from the successes!

Kate, put that hat over your bike helmet. It will keep your head warm when you ride during the off season. You'll be a trend setter extraordinairre!
