at long last apricot

about ten years ago, i saw this pink, fur-collared sweater in a magazine and fell in love with it. the only problem: it wasn't from a knitting mag. i was so enamored with the design, i clipped and taped it in my knitting journal, along with some thoughts on how to possibly adapt it to a pattern. i even got a vintage fur collar from my gram to sew onto it.

that's as far as it got.

until i saw rebecca 27 and apricot jacket:

i can't believe how similar this pattern is, right down to the curled edge on the button placket.

Seriously cool. Do the fur collar.

I'm going to start a notebook like that. I have so many loose magazine pages that I want to turn into designs one day when I get more experience under my belt.
