finally finising the zipper sweater from hollywood knits style. i ran out of brown yarn, so decided to make a hot pink stripe in one of the sleeves to make up for it. washed the whole thing in pantene pro V creme rinse to soften up the scratchy brown sheep fibers. feels pretty soft...but the real test will come when i can wear the damn thing.
then i had to try to find aluminum zippers. the ones in the book are orange with silver teeth. but fuggedabout finding one of those in rochester. the lady at my local sewing store was nice, but looked at me as if i had two heads when i asked if they had pink metal zippers.
