And yes, I totally brought my knitting with me! Of course, I live in n.w. Wisconsin and our county has the smallest county seat in this mostly rural state, so no prohibitions against much of anything.

I did find, though, that I didn't feel it was appropriate to knit during testimony. I can knit while I watch TV or movie just fine, but I felt that I needed to concentrate 100% on the witness testimony. After all, this is serious business. That said, there was still a goodly amount of knitting time. It didn't seem inappropriate or disrespectful to knit during most of the selection process, which took several hours.

I will probably serve again at least once more before the end of the month. More knitting time, yeah!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9265155.post-1147925487271905832006-05-17T23:11:00.000-05:002006-05-17T23:11:00.000-05:00really? i'll have to look for the sign the next t...really? i'll have to look for the sign the next time i'm there -- i've never noticed it! then again, my atty id gets me in around the metal detectors so i never really had to look ...krazybarristerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14529462601761778540noreply@blogger.com
